Pato Delighted With Milan Demolition Of Udinese
The Rossoneri were back to their best tonight, as they made light work of Udinese at the San Siro.
Milan comprehensively defeated Udinese at the San Siro stadium tonight, as four first half goals capped off 2008 in style for the giants of Italian football.
Alexandre Pato and Kaka both grabbed a brace, whilst Clarence Seedorf tapped in the other, following an impressive Andrea Pirlo free kick that was well saved by Samir Handanovic in goals.
Pato’s brace meant that the young Brazilian ended the year with four goals in his final three matches, and he was ecstatic to have helped his side to victory, something that he made apparent in an interview at the completion of the contest.
“It was a beautiful night, and it has left us feeling very positive heading into the New Year,” Pato declared in an interview with Sky.
“I am happy with our great performance, as we all played well. Yes I scored two goals, but I am mainly happy that I could help my team mates succeed.
“I love playing with Ronaldinho, Kaka, Seedorf and everyone else. It’s just so easy, and I love being able to contribute,” he added.
“I am not physically strong nor am I very tall, but [Carlo] Ancelotti always tells me that I can do well, and so maybe he is right,” he concluded.
The starlet certainly repaid the faith his coach has shown in him tonight, as his two goals and assist in the first 20 minutes of play set up the club’s great end to the year.
