Milan whiz Ronaldinho is begging Kaka to stay on at San Siro rather than sign a lucrative deal with Premier League side Manchester City.

'Dinho, who signed from Barcelona in the summer to link up with his Seleção teammate, is urging him to reject the Citizens. The Brazilian even insists that Kaka's move to City could end up costing his club plenty in terms of silverware.

He has issued one final call to Kaka asking him to stay, just as reports suggest Manchester City are on the verge of signing the Rossoneri midfielder in a deal worth over €150 million.

"Kaka, stay at Milan," Ronaldinho is quoted as saying in the Daily Star.

"Kaka's exit would be a disaster and we are desperate for him to stay so that we can win plenty of trophies.

"He is too important for us and he is the symbol of Milan. We want to get back into the Champions League and we need Kaka in order to do this."

For his part, Ronaldinho has been outstanding for Milan, but has been slapped with a three match ban in the Coppa Italia for his behaviour during the loss to Lazio last month.
