Milan Midfielder Emerson Directs His Anger Towards The Media
AC Milan midfielder Emerson did not like the fact that Spanish journalists from AS twisted his words when he commented on the Kaka-Manchester City transfer.
Milan midfielder Emerson has admitted he was satisfied with his own level of performance during the friendly game against Hanover on Wednesday evening, however, he would also confess to be pleased with the way his side played as a whole as they won the fixture 3-2.
The Rossoneri will be facing Bologna this weekend as Serie A begins it second round of fixtures.
"I saw a good Milan [against Hanover],” commented the former Juventus player. “The team played with great character, managing to come back from the result of the first half [Hanover 1-0 Milan] and creating a lot of chances. “
Emerson then went on to attack journalists for the way they report news, after they quoted him as saying that Kaka will leave for Real Madrid.
“These circumstances made me understand that, with time, you can begin to evaluate people and, therefore, distinguish who you should talk to and who you shouldn't,” continued the Brazilian.
“I was asked a question by a journalist and I simply replied that it seemed strange to me that Ricky [Kaka] would go to Manchester City and I said that the decision that he took was the best one."
The 32-year-old has not seen too much action since joining Milan in 2007 as so far he has played just 26 matches following his move from Real Madrid.
