Jose Mourinho Has No Respect - Carlo Ancelotti
The AC Milan coach has started a war of words with his Inter counterpart by declaring that he showed a lack of respect last night. Carletto also revealed his wish for David Beckham to stay at San Siro.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder has been in hot form for his side, and he was outstanding during the 4-1 thrashing of Bologna on Sunday. Becks scored a fine goal in that match and he has been impressing for his side on an all-round basis.
It seems that everyone at Milan wants the Englishman to stay on, none more so than Ancelotti, who is full of praise for the LA Galaxy star.
"Beckham to stay? Everything is possible in football," Ancelotti told Radio Anchio Sport.
"The club's position is the same and we will not apply any pressure. Beckham will make his own decision and we will keep out of it.
"Our wish is for him to stay with us. Obviously it will be sad for us when he does leave as he has been doing well."
Ancelotti also believes Jose Mourinho's sending off against Sampdoria was right. The Inter coach seemed to say something to the referee that didn't go down well and was dismissed to the stand during the first half of their narrow victory.
"I don't think the referee was scared," continued the coach.
"I think Mourinho showed a lack of respect and the decision to send him away was correct.”
It remains to be seen what Mourinho's reply to this frank outburst will be.
