Poll Results: Kaka Won't Go To Manchester City
The readers have spoken, and a slim majority are sceptical over the prospect of Kaka's alleged transfer to Manchester City...
Yesterday we asked our readers whether or not Kaka's long-running transfer saga was likely to end with a move to Manchester City.
Despite reports that the player's father (and agent) is flying into Manchester to discuss terms, the readers remained sceptical. The results ran as follows:
1. No: 51%
2. Yes, in January: 33%
3. Yes, in summer: 16%
So, only a third felt it likely that Kaka will be pulling on the sky blue jersey this month.
Meanwhile our Goal.com transfer forums sparked into life upon mention of this topic. There are far, far too many good replies to mention, so we'll focus on just a few of them.

"Kaka better not leave. I believe he won't, Kaka is good at heart and won't leave and disappoint millions of Milanisti around the world. I was way more worried when Madrid made an offer, because they are as big as Milan, unlike Man City. It would tear me apart to see Kaka leaving to Manc, i can't believe the directors at Milan even gave Kaka the chance to talk to Manc. I think reporters are just blowing this story out of proportion. I was distraught when Sheva left, Kaka leaving will kill me. Seriously. Kaka, please stay."
While 'alatristemilan' argued:
"All I can say is that yes Kaka is a very, very good player and has helped Milan win everything of consequence in the world of Football/ Calcio (and maybe the UEFA as well since its the only trophy we lack). However, we have to look at Milan's pressing concerns and that is their defence (and if you want to push it further their ageing players). It would be regrettable if Kaka left but with the money Milan would receive in return we could stock our team with new talent and make us even more of perennial favourites for years to come. Just look how successful Juve was with the Zidane transfer and the players they got in return to re-invent themselves."
But what seemed to be of more concern to many contributors was the ramifications of any possible move. User 'giancarlo' was adamant that Milan would be making a grave mistake if they sold:
"If he wants to play in nasty rain 90% of the time, then Manchester is the place. If he wants to play for money and possibly end up in the 2nd division Coca-Cola league (aren't they sponsoring it now?) then so be it! But if he has the slightest amount of character and integrity, he will wholeheartedly reject this deal... Let me go through this! There are NO BRIGHT SIDES TO THIS STORY. I'm very upset because Kaka is part of Milan and always will be. We're not Juventus. We are a family at Milan."
