Nevio Orlandi - Reggina Could Have Beaten Milan
The Amaranto obtained a morale-boosting point at San Siro against the Rossoneri last night, but for Orlandi, his team could have ultimately won the encounter.
Reggina coach Nevio Orlandi was quoted as saying by Sportmediaset.it that he is disappointed with the 1-1 result against Milan, as his side could have won all three points.
Results like these are a confidence boost for the Amaranto and Orlando, who has not given up hope yet on reaching the survival zone.
"I'm satisfied with the performance offered by the team, but we could have also won the game in the end," declared the Reggio Calabria side's coach.
"Despite the absence of important players like [Franco] Brienza, the team is holding well on the pitch. The tactical setup change, to take best advantage of the players' characteristics, is yielding results.
"Reaching the survival again, would constitute the biggest satisfaction of my career."
Reggina are still in bottom position with 16 points from 23 games, six points away from the survival zone, but with more confidence in their own qualities.
