Early on Monday, a bombshell dropped in Milan when a report in Spanish daily AS claimed that Kaka’s agent and father, Bosco Leite, had announced that the playmaker will be joining Real Madrid in the summer.
But a day later, Leite moved quickly to quash those rumours as he vehemently denied that he made any mention of his son moving to the Spanish capital. However, that has not stopped the Madrid-based paper from reigniting the speculation.
According to AS, it was Kaka’s trusted associates who told him not to sign anything from Manchester City in the January transfer window, as they had learned that Florentino Perez would run for Madrid’s presidential elections and start a new exciting project at the Bernabeu.
Now, the Spanish sports journal has reported that Kaka told his close friends, “My dream is to play in Real Madrid and I hope Florentino and [Silvio] Berlusconi can reach an agreement as soon as possible.”
