Capello Not Yet Sure About Beckham's England Call-Up

England coach Fabio Capello is not yet sure which players he will call up for the friendly against Spain.

Yesterday night England coach Fabio Capello was in the stands at the Milan-Genoa match to watch David Beckham, the player he himself advised to move to the Rossoneri.

The former England captain opened the scoring with a brilliant free-kick, and sprayed around a number of impressive passes in the first half of the match, which finished 1-1.

Asked about the call-ups for the upcoming friendly against Spain, Capello said: "I still have to decide, but I am satisfied about Beckham's performance yesterday, he seems to have improved compared to the last few games.

"Yesterday I was at San Siro to watch his performance. He seems to be well adjusted at Milan."

When he was asked whether there is a chance Beckham will be called up for the 2010 World Cup, the coach gave his usual pragmatic response.

"First we have to qualify, then I will think about what players to call up," he answered.

Capello started his adventure as England coach around a year ago, and has led the Three Lions to four consecutive victories in their first four World Cup qualifying matches, as well as winning a prestigious friendly in Germany.
