Gourcuff's father has warned both Bordeaux and Milan to stop gambling around with his son's future...
The future of young French international Yoann Gourcuff is cloudy at present. Currently on-loan at Bordeaux, the 22 year-old midfielder has already expressed his interest at staying in France.Les Girondins are currently in pole position to sign the young prodigy as the loan deal that they struck with AC Milan in the summer contained a €15 million buy-out clause, which the Ligue 1 title hopefuls are likely to take advantage of should Gourcuff express his desire to stay in Aquitaine.
Several other clubs are also hunting his signature at present, with his father, Christian Gourcuff, head coach of fellow Ligue 1 side Lorient, urging the media and the teams to give his son space.
"The two clubs can say what they like, but there are other sides who are interested," the father told Le Figaro. "Yoann is stuck in the middle of a world of deals, but he is only interested in the sporting side of the game.
"He is only interested in playing and the atmosphere will influence his next choice."
